About the Kidney & Liver Volume Tracker
The volume tracker charts kidney and liver volumes over time for individuals with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD), using volumes measured on MRI or CT.
Enter the age and the left kidney, right kidney, and liver volumes at each scan. The tracker then calculates:
- Total kidney volume (TKV) and height-adjusted TKV (htTKV)
- Mayo Imaging Classification (class 1A to 1E) at each scan, based on htTKV and age
- Annual growth rates for total, left, and right kidney volume, from a least-squares fit of log volume against age, with 95% confidence intervals
- Growth on and off treatment, fitted separately for each treatment period you mark, such as tolvaptan
- Overall liver growth
